This is my second caricature of Patti. The first one, from almost three years ago, when I first started doing these in Procreate, can be seen here. I still like it a lot, but I've improved a bit with my technique since then. The earlier one took a bit longer to draw, and I had a lot of trouble with the likeness. I had to make one major adjustment to the new one about halfway through, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Also, I love Patti Smith. Horses is still one of my favorite albums. I was thrilled to see it performed live (with my daughter) in its entirety by The Patti Smith Group in 2017.
