I decided to try using a different drawing method this time, using just a simple round brush for nearly everything, instead of doing line work with Procreate's 6B Pencil brush, and then shading it all in. The result is closer to a painting. I'm pretty pleased with the effect and I think I'll keep exploring this style of rendering.
